70s Mesh Beach Top Crochet Pattern, Vintage Tunic, Cover-Up

1970s Vintage Mesh Beach Top or Tunic Crochet Pattern: This beach cover-up or tunic top is made in a mesh pattern inside a square border. The front and back are crocheted the same.

Women Size: Small 8-10; medium (12-14) and large (16-18) in parentheses.
Bust Size: 34 1/2 (38 1/2- 42 1/2) inches. Hip: 34 (38-42) inches.

Materials: Bernat Cott’n Silk (nubby worsted yarn, 50 gr, 120 yds) 5 (7-8) balls.  Crochet hook E-4 (3.5 mm) or size to give gauge.

Gauge: 5 dc = 1 inch; 2 rows = 1 inch
1 pattern = 3 inches; 9 rows = 3 1⁄2 inches.
