70s Granny Square Skirt Crochet Pattern, Afghan Square Skirt

1970s Vintage Afghan – Granny Square Skirt Crochet Pattern: Six giant afghan squares are sewn on a diagonal to solid colors; rose hip band, green waistband and drawstring are at top; granny squares border bottom.

Size: Small 6-8-10; Medium (12-14-16) in brackets.
Note: Crochet hook and gauge determine size.
Fits Body Waist Size: 22-23-24 (25 1/2- 27- 29) inches.
Fits Body Hip Size: 32 1/2- 33 1/2- 34 1/2 (36-38-40) inches.

Materials: Knitting worsted, 6 ozs rose, main color (MC); 4 ozs yellow (Y); about 12 ozs of desired colors.
For small size: Crochet hook size F / 3-4.
For medium size: Crochet hook size I/7 (or English sizes 8 or 5.)

Gauge: Each small square = 4 inches (size F hook); 4 1/2 inches (size I hook).
Each large square = 6 1/2 inches (size F hook); 7 1/2 inches (size I hook).
