Patons Captson (Aran yarn), 17-18-20-21 (50 gram) balls.
Pair each Nos 3 3/4 mm and 5 mm needles.
Needle sizes quoted are Metric: equivalent UK sizes are No 9 for 3 3/4 mm and No 6 for 5 mm.

Gauge:
9 sts and 12 rows to 2 inches over stocking stitch on No 5 mm needles.
