1970s Vintage Golden Bells Afghan Knitting Pattern: An allover pattern of bell-shaped figures gives this afghan its interesting texture. Knit in one piece of two strands of yarn, this treasure of an afghan is quick to make. Edged in single crochet, fringe finishes top and bottom edges.

Size: 42 x 52 inches plus fringe.

Materials:
Bernat Berella 4 (worsted weight yarn), 10 4-oz balls of gold.
Knitting needles No. 12 (8 or 9 mm).
Crochet hook size J (6 mm).

Gauge: 3 sts = 1 inch; 12 rows = 3 3/4 inches (pat st, double strand of yarn).
