1980s Vintage Stained Glass Afghan Crochet Pattern: Stained glass look afghan, center three panels in tunisian crochet with afghan stitch, the balance in regular crochet. The black outline is embroidered on.
Challenging: For those with more experience in crocheting.

NOTE: The center panels of afghan are done in afghan stitch/Tunisian crochet, using a longer crochet hook that resembles a knitting needle. Instructions for afghan stitch are included but you will need an afghan hook.

Afghan Size: Approx 48 x 62 inches

Materials: Reynolds Reynelle worsted yarn (4-oz skein): 7 skeins of Black (A), 2 skeins of Clay (B), and
1 skein each of Raspberry (C), Purple (D), Royal (E), Turquoise (F), Gold (G), Cardinal (H), and Kelly (1);
Size I-9 afghan hook (5.5 mm), or size for gauge;
Size H-8 crochet hook (5 mm);
No. 14 tapestry needle;
Yarn bobbins.

Gauge: In Afghan Stitch, 4 upright bars = 1 inch; 3 rows = 1 inch.
