Men’s Vintage Diagonal Rib Pullover Vest Knitting Pattern – original from 1947
V-neck, sleeveless slipover sweater in fine yarn, with shaped armholes and double-rib-pattern welts. Suitable for knitters with some previous experience.

Size: Chest: 36 (38-40-42-44) inches.
Length: 24 (24- 25- 25- 25 1⁄2) inches.

Materials: Lister-Lee Motoravia 4 ply yarn (fingering weight), 4 (4-5-5-6) x 50 gr, 200 yd balls.
Knitting Needles 1 pair 2 3/4 mm, 1 pair 3 1/4 mm.

Gauge: 14 sts and 18 rows = 2 inches square over patt on 3 1/4 mm needles.
If your tension square does not correspond to these measurements, adjust the needle size used.
