1970s Vintage Child’s Mosaic Sweater Crochet Pattern: Mosaic sweater made of granny squares of different sizes and colors with pretty striped crochet areas. Gusseting on both sides eases the fit. Striped sleeves are single crochet.

Child Size: 4 through 6. Sweater measures 13 1/2 inches across back at underarms and 13 inches from back of neck to lower edge. Adjustments can be made for slightly larger size by working wider borders around patchwork, or, for smaller size, by omitting side gussets.

Materials: Bernat Berella Germantown acrylic yarn, 3 ozs china rose, 2 ozs purple, 1/2 oz each jockey red, caramel, shannon green, orange, (flag blue) turquoise, lavender, roman gold, walnut, honey yellow and marine blue OR knitting worsted weight of your choice;
Crochet hook size F (or Canadian No. 10) or size to give correct gauge; scrap fabric about 13 inches square;
tapestry needle.

Gauge: 3-rnd square = 3 inches; 9 sc = 2 inches; 9 sc rows = 2 inches.
