Vintage Cabled Sweater Vest Knitting Pattern – Originally from 1936 – V-neck, sleeveless, lambswool sweater in cable, reversed stocking and garter-stitch stripes, with ribbed welts. Suitable for knitters with some previous experience.

Size: Bust/Chest 36 (38:40:42) inches.
Length 23 3/4 (24 1/2: 25 1/2: 26) inches.

Materials: George Picaud Feu Vert (sport weight yarn) 6 (6:7:7) x 50 gr, 144 yd balls.
Knitting Needles 1 pair 3 1/4 mm, 1 pair 4 mm.
1 cable needle

Gauge: 14 sts and 19 rows = 5 cm (2 inches) square over stocking stitch on 4 mm needles.
