1970s Vintage Baby Granny Square Set Crochet Pattern: An unusual, crochet baby’s set, cardigan, cap and blanket, in bright, clear colors. Traditionalists might prefer softer tones. Either way you’ll have an adorable and practical outfit.

Size: Infants to 6 months (1-2) in parentheses;
Cardigan width around at underarms about 19 (20 1/2- 22) inches; Afghan measures about 25 x 29 inches.

Materials: Fingering (sock and sweater) yarn for cardigan and cap, about 3 (4-4) ozs orange (A), 1 oz each white (B) and brown (C); for afghan, about 3 ozs orange (A), 2 ozs each white (B) and light orange (C), 1 oz brown (D).
Crochet hook Size D (3.25 mm)or size required for gauge.
3 small buttons.

Gauge: 5 hdc = 1 inch, 7 rows of hdc = 2 inches;
Each cardigan square measures about 2 1/2 inches across;
Each afghan square is almost 4 inches across.
