1970s Vintage Patterned Skirt Knitting Pattern: Stripes, diamonds, and triangles are combined in a border of rich complexity and earthy coloring. The skirt is knitted in rounds on a circular needle and shaped for a perfect fit.

Size: Directions are for 37 inch hip, 40 inch hip are in brackets.

Materials: Fingering/Sport weight yarn 250 (300) gm or 9 (11) oz gold, 100 gm or 4 oz blue,
50 gm or 2 oz each rust, brown, and white [50 gm = 145 m or 158 yds].
Circular needle size 2 (US) or 2.75 mm or 11 (UK).
Zipper: 25 cm (10 inches) long.
Elastic for waistband.

Gauge: 26 sts and 35 rnds 10 cm or 4 inches.
