Description

1960s Vintage Light Hooded Coat or Dress Knitting Pattern: The inside-out, lightweight, hooded coat in two-color stripes is reverse stockinette stitch. Wear it as a coat, as a beach cover-up, teamed with pants, or as a coat-dress.

Size: 34 (36-38) inch bust, and 36 inch hips, and (38- 40) inch hips in parentheses.
Length to shoulder, 40 (40 1/2-41) inches.
Sleeve seam, 17 inches.

Materials: 3-ply fingering yarn,
12 (13-15) 1 oz balls main color A, pink;
9 (11-12) balls contrasting color B, white.
One pair No. 3 needles (or Canadian No. 10)
One pair No. 4 needles (or Canadian No. 9)
6 buttons

Gauge: 7 sts and 9 rows to 1 inch over reversed st st worked on No. 4 needles.
