1970s Vintage Ombre Beach Set Crochet Pattern, Bikini, Caftan and Headpiece: Ombre ensemble is great fun. Long mesh caftan, in oranges and hot pink, has side slits, a laced front. Sheik-inspired headpiece keeps out sun’s burning rays. Matching bikini is shell stitch, laces at sides.

Gauge:
7 meshes = 5 inches (dress, No. 0 hook).
4 shells = 3 inches (bikini, size E hook).
