1970s Vintage Folk Christmas Stockings Knitting Pattern: Folk patterned stockings are knit from the top down. Trees, snowflakes, reindeer, children holding hands are Scandinavian motifs, knit into the background.
Size: Approx 28 inches long.
Materials: Knitting worsted weight yarn, 4-oz white (W) for each stocking; 1 oz red (R), 1 1/2 oz green (G) for Deer stocking;
1 1/2 oz Red (R), 1 oz navy (N) for Paper Dolls stocking.
Knitting needles No. 5 (3.75 mm).
Dp needles No. 5 (3.75 mm).
Two stitch holders.
Four bobbins for Deer stocking only.
Gauge: 11 sts = 2 inches.
