1970s Vintage Mesh Pullover Beach Top Crochet Pattern: Roomy and airy, this top is perfect for a bathing suit cover-up. Mesh is done in afghan crochet and bands are in standard single crochet. Front and back are the same, yoke and sleeve are made in one piece.
NOTE: The top is done in afghan stitch in Tunisian crochet, using a longer crochet hook that resembles a knitting needle. Instructions for afghan stitch are included but you will need an afghan hook.
Women Size: Small 8-10, Medium (12-14) and Large (16-18) in parentheses.
Bust: 31 1/2-32 1/2 (34-36/38-40) inches
Materials: Bernat Linette (sport weight nubby yarn), 50 gr-100 yd pull pouches, 10 (11-13) pouches.
Afghan Hook US Size I (5.5 mm).
Crochet Hook US Size G (4.5 mm).
