Materials: Hayfield Beaulon (4-ply, fingering yarn) 1 oz each of three contrasting shades.
A, first colour; B, second colour; C, third colour.
One pair each No. 10 and 12 knitting needles (US sizes 3 and 1).
One crochet hook 2.5 mm.
Gauge: 7 sts and 9 rows to 1 inch over st st on No. 10 needles.
