1960s Vintage Gold Cyclist’s Poncho and Cap Knitting Pattern: Gold poncho, with cap to match, is styled like French cyclist’s cape. Poncho, knitted in garter stitch with two strands of yarn, is made in two pieces, seamed on sides, zips open on a shoulder. Front has slits for ties and a simulated center seam worked in slip stitches. Separate collar is sewn on and fits neck snugly.
Note: Poncho and cap are worked with double strand of yarn throughout.

Aluminum crochet hook size F-5 (3.75 mm).
9 inch neck zipper.
Button mold.
Gauge: 7 sts = 2 inches (No. 10 needles).
