1980s Vintage Men’s Cable & Rib Sweater Knitting Pattern – Cable and Rib Sweater originally from 1953: Chunky sports sweater with set-in sleeves, knitted in alternating bands of cable stitch and ribbing. Suitable for knitters with some previous experience.

Men Size: Chest: 36 (38-40-42-44) inches.
Length: 25 1/2 (26- 26 1/4- 26 3/4- 27 1/4) inches.

Materials: Jaeger Luxury Spun DK Yarn 11 (11-12-12-13) x 50 gr, 137 yd balls.
Knitting Needles 1 pair 3 mm, 1 pair 3.75 mm.
1 cable needle

Tension: 29 sts and 27 rows = 4 inches square over patt on 3.75 mm needles.
