1970s Vintage Baby Angel Top Crochet Pattern: Babies pretty shell stitch angel top has long puff sleeves or short cap sleeves. Neckline is trimmed in delicate picot stitch. Original UK and converted US terms are included.

Size: Newborn to 3 months, (3 to 6 months).
To fit 18, 19 inch chest; length from neck edge 7, 9 inches, long sleeve length 5, 6 inches.

Materials: Sirdar Snuggly 4 ply yarn (fingering/baby weight) 40 gr balls (with sleeve) 2, 3 balls; (without sleeve) 2, 2 balls.
1 No. 3 mm (UK 10 – US D3) Crochet Hook 1 No. 4 mm (UK 8 – US F5) Crochet Hook
3 Buttons.
Ribbon trim.

Tension: 12 tr = 2 inches on 3 mm hook (UK).
